University of Utah

I decided to start including a little series to let you get to know a little more about me. You can read all posts in this series under the category, Trina.

I actually hold two bachelors degrees from the University of Utah; one in Medical Illustration and the other in Nursing – basically, I love using both sides of my brain!

Art and science have played major roles in my life and interests since I was little. I actually have a scar on my left shin from trying to get onto the corrugated metal roof of the woodshed to sketch as a young child. I bought my first camera when I was 7 (a Vivitar film camera with a zoom lens – by the way, my first SLR camera was also film). One of my favorite childhood science memories was creating a salt dough volcano and watching it erupt red lava as the vinegar reacted with the baking soda! So cool.

I apologize it has been so long since my last post. The last several months have been crazy busy with weddings, family, business, family and portrait sessions, travel, workshops and life in general.

Ali and Jaden are high school sweet-hearts whose love has blossomed through the years. They are so in love and are such a darling couple.
